Boxing Day Polar Bear Swim 2025 (Demo)

Join the classic Gibraltar Boxing Day tradition at Catalan Bay! This is an informal community meet-up — no registration, no organisers, no schedule beyond the swim itself. Everyone simply gathers on the beach around 10:00, chats, takes photos, and at 11:00 the whole group runs into the Mediterranean for a quick festive dip. After a few minutes, people head out, get changed, warm up, and go their own way. Festive accessories like Christmas hats or fun costumes are welcome but completely optional. Bring a towel, warm clothes to change into, and your holiday spirit. All ages welcome; lifeguards are usually present for safety.
