Simple rules to keep GiBoard safe and friendly for everyone
GiBoard is Gibraltar's marketplace — a place where neighbours buy, sell, and connect. These guidelines help keep our community trustworthy and enjoyable for everyone.
✓ Be Honest
- •Describe items accurately — include any flaws or defects
- •Use real photos of your actual item, not stock images
- •Set fair prices and honour your listed price
- •Only list items you actually own and can sell
✓ Be Respectful
- •Treat other users the way you'd like to be treated
- •Respond to messages promptly and politely
- •Show up on time if you arrange to meet
- •Let buyers know if an item is sold
✓ Stay Safe
- •Meet in public places during daylight hours
- •Tell someone where you're going when meeting a buyer/seller
- •Inspect items before paying
- •Use cash or secure payment methods
- •Never send money upfront to someone you don't know
What's Not Allowed
To keep everyone safe, the following are strictly prohibited:
Illegal Items
- • Drugs and controlled substances
- • Weapons and ammunition
- • Stolen goods
- • Counterfeit products
Harmful Content
- • Adult services
- • Hate speech or discrimination
- • Harassment or threats
- • Scams and fraud
Spam & Abuse
- • Duplicate listings
- • Misleading descriptions
- • Fake reviews
- • Price manipulation
Restricted Items
- • Prescription medications
- • Alcohol (without license)
- • Tobacco to minors
- • Hazardous materials

What Happens If You Break the Rules
- 1st violation:Warning and listing removed
- 2nd violation:Temporary account suspension (7-30 days)
- Serious violations:Permanent ban (no appeal for illegal content)
